Okay but be careful about some things

1. MY HAIR has oily roots + dry hair and sometimes there are growths on the scalp. I've researched a lot about shampoos and conditioners and how best to take care of my hair. 2. FIRST THOUGHTS This is an amazing shampoo + accompanying conditioner, it cleanses my scalp and leaves my hair very soft. Usually my hair is pretty dry and messy the day I shampoo it, but it looks better the next day. Leaves hair soft and clean for a long time. With other shampoos I have always felt that my hair was "heavy" and dull but not with this one. You can probably go a few days without shampoo. This shampoo contains COCO-BETAINE which is a gentle cleansing agent.3. BE CAREFUL - SHAMPOO I've been reading about sulfates and silicones in shampoos/conditioners and how people avoid these harsh ingredients and choose sulfate and silicone free products. Although this product does not contain silicone, it does contain SODIUM LAURET SULPHATE which, as you guessed it, is a sulfate. (See the picture I attached).4. CAUTION - CONDITIONER The included conditioner contains ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL, a drying alcohol that should be avoided. It also contains CETEARYL ALCOHOL which is a good moisturizing alcohol. (See the image I've attached). After using this product for a few weeks I find that it dries out my scalp a bit and therefore my scalp produces natural oil to compensate causing build up and more oiliness on my scalp.5. YOU MAKE YOURSELF These points may not matter to you if you don't really care about the ingredients and this product works well for you. Just wanted to summarize how I started reading labels and choosing products.6. USEFUL INFORMATION There are also some great concepts like CO-WASHING (sulphate-free conditioner) and LOW-POO (sulphate-free mild shampoo). You can find more information about this on Google. These methods have changed people's hair for the better and they have even claimed that their hair is no longer flaky, itchy or greasy like it used to be.
