I've tried using this cable in a variety of ways. Used to charge my Macbook and iPad, connect a USB-C monitor to my Macbook, and connect a graphics tablet with an integrated display. Everything worked great, no problems with video, data or charging. The braided jacket and strain reliefs on the cable appear to be quite strong and should prevent the cable from being unduly bent or twisted.
