This is actually my second of these sets. My first set had to be cut off my finger shortly before the surgery due to swelling and because I hadn't taken them off for quite some time at the time. I've been wearing the first set for over 3 years now. When they cut the rings off my finger, the normal tool they used didn't work. Stainless steel is too strong. They needed a stronger cutting tool to cut it and a big strong man to help rip it apart when they could finally cut it. When I ordered my replacement kit I found that I had had the original kit for over 3 years and still got compliments on it all the time despite wearing it in the shower, in the pool, at work, in the garden and in everything else. Otherwise this ring was as shiny and beautiful as the day I received it and not once has it discolored my finger or irritated my skin at all. Definitely worth buying, even twice!
