One of the two rotors was deformed/failed.
One of the two discs I received must have been warped or rounded from the factory, maybe even worn a millimeter or two due to the inner caliper being ground down after installation, and after purchasing the 3rd I have no problem. One was definitely defective and being a kit I'm pretty sure I can't get a partial refund.
