My old braids were either stuck or stuck together and I destroyed them when I took them off. This braid worked to replace them. I have replaced the Netural safety switch and both pigtails. Comes with heat shrink connectors but I chose to use heat shrink tubing and solder to join the connections. Strip the old and new wires, install the heat shrink tubing far enough away from the connector, then twist and secure the wire. Place the heat shrink tubing over the connection and then use a hair dryer or heat gun to shrink the tubing. To prevent the wires from hooking up incorrectly, do one wire at a time, they are not color coded.
