Received as a gift. Very shiny. I thought the rainbow would be different for each brush, but it's the same pressure on one side and a different pressure on the other side across all brushes. Although this does not detract from their overall appearance. The tips are soft but hold their shape quite well. They're still in use after all this time, so I guess I did something right when I got them as a gift. Publication Statement I order items with my own money, which I earn with my own work and time.
