It's been over 100 degrees F here a few times this summer and it's stuck to my dashboard to this day. However, I've found that if I forget to put the windshield blind on, the thing collapses and I have to move my hand and pull it back. It doesn't fall off, but the screws kinda loosen in the heat. It's okay, it's my fault I forgot. Charging is a bit slow and will not charge through a case that has metal inside such as a case. B. a custom plate. I had to change my phone case to use it which was disappointing. It also doesn't work with the battery compartment. And the proximity sensor doesn't always work. The rear release is either too sensitive or ignores me at times. And unlike other reviews, mine doesn't hold a charge when the engine is off. So if I forget to take my phone out before turning the engine off, I can't use the unlock and have to turn ACC back on to get my phone off. All in all not a deal breaker. I'm happy with that for the price. This way I can charge my phone and at the same time use the lightning connector to connect my phone to my car stereo since my car doesn't have bluetooth. I just wish it was a little sturdier and the ball joint of the phone holder itself didn't sag as much.
