where have these been my whole life 38 years and i use the flat or square manual shredders, rarely am i this impressed with a gimmicky or so i thought item. in the past ill spend 5+ minutes shredding making sure I don't slice my finger in the process. well mine finally breaks and i give this a shot, cut a good sized chunk of cheese off the block to shred, attach it to the counter and 5 SECONDS later I had a plate of shredded cheese. the only way to shred any faster would be a food processor, the fact it has the smaller shredding as well as a slicing attachment made this a really great purchase.
