The quality of this product is excellent. However, assembling this item is a bit tedious and requires almost two people. You need two people, otherwise it will be difficult to place such poles inside (there are poles in the TV mount). In addition, the build quality is quite good. I have this stand with a 65 inch Hisense TV behind a wooden TV cabinet. The TV weighs about 70 pounds. I wanted to elevate my TV higher than the original stand would allow because I wanted to mount the center speaker underneath the TV. Trick. Hasn't moved since I installed the TV and I'm not worried it will fall off. I'm not sure how "better" it is than the cheaper ones out there. I've had some of the cheaper alternatives in the past and they've done the job just as well as this one.
