Not a permanent solution
I've only had it 2 months and the plastic liner of the screw holes has already splintered completely so it won't stick together. In a pinch, this strap can be good, but it may not last long with simple everyday wear. This is the second strap in less than a year and again this is simply due to regular wear and tear. It looks like it's worth investing in a Garmin original manufacturer replacement strap. This belt served me for many years until it finally broke.
