I bought these for my vacation. Used them for about an hour to walk along the rocky beach not suitable for bare feet. I found them to feel a little odd and as I got out of the water I noticed that the glue between the pad and the inside of the shoe was soft and the pad was moving and clumping all over the inside of the shoe. I went to the local beach shop and bought another pair. No problem. After these shoes dried, the bottom pad felt secure again. Doesn't it make sense to have water shoes that are attacked by the water, does it? I would say the shoes look nice but the lining will fall apart on you. You need to find the best way to attach the pillow underneath.
