I originally got this because my dad has prostate cancer and I was hoping it would help him sleep at night as it can be painful to lie on his side without the to have proper support. Now I'll say it's incredibly soft and comfortable BUT it doesn't offer as much support as I thought it would. It looks just like the pictures but I don't think pregnant women will find it helpful enough. It's perfect for me to lie in bed at the computer. But he's not strong. It's easy to pick up a handful, meaning it's not very harsh. The top of the pillow is firmer than the rest of the "arms" which is odd considering the arms make it a body pillow. I won't be returning because it's so soft and comfortable, but be aware there are firmer pillows available in store. If you need head and shoulder support, this is for you. However, it lacks body support.
