Review on Zuru Robo Alive Life-like Robotic Lizard by Andy Baudoin

We've always had good luck with Zuru toys and this one is no exception. We bought both the robot lizard and the snake and both arrived on time and well packaged. Both items were larger than expected and we were pleasantly surprised. After unpacking, all we had to do was insert the batteries. The lizard uses 2 AA batteries (not included) and the snake uses 2 AAA batteries (not included). As we read some of the reviews, we saw others comment on the battery installation and the rigors they endured. We haven't experienced that. We used a very small flathead screwdriver for the lizard and a very small Phillips screwdriver for the snake. Both screws came out easily. Once the batteries are in, all you have to do is turn on the power switch (on the bottom) and you're good to go! We were very surprised how the lizard and the snake moved. The snake glides like a real one and is incredibly realistic! The lizard is also very close to the real one. We shot a video on YT for our channel and tried it out on the street. The snake had a bit of trouble moving freely on the sidewalk, but the sidewalk was also covered in a lot of debris, so we assumed that was the reason. Put it on a flat surface and it will go without any problems! Both snake and lizard are great buys for the price. We made videos about toys that were way more expensive and not as fun as this one.
