Zuru Robo Alive Life-like Robotic Lizard Review

I'm a bit disappointed with this toy. He seems to want to spend more time on his back than on his right side. And it also gets stuck under furniture if it bumps into a wall or other object, instead of turning away as advertised. I wouldn't buy this again.

When it is on, the lizard just runs forward. This is a simple toy. The keywords "robot", "alive" and "robot" appear to imply intelligent behavior, or at least some behaviors. But he only does one thing. I don't think it will be interesting for children over 5 years old for much longer. Material and workmanship appear to be good. The walk looks realistic.

I bought this for my dog because she hunts lizards. I feel bad but after they died he still wants to play with them. That's great! He just keeps moving. I see it playing if it falls apart, but so far the toy is pretty tough. He was having so much fun that I had to give him a break. Maybe we'll save some lizards in the process.

Does exactly as described and is adorable. Given that Santa was supposed to bring this or the original, I think it's a win-win. He walks around, you can lift his head. That even convinced the dog. I've seen a lot of confusion regarding batteries. Simply unscrew a Phillips head screw and remove it from the back panel. There are two double A's.

For those having trouble with the screws on the battery case. It should be obvious, but I don't think so. There are four triangular/three-point security screws. You don't have to remove them. There is a small Phillips screwdriver that needs to be removed to change the batteries. My son liked the toy but it was quite noisy and would stop/make a loud noise if it bumped into something.

Bought to entertain a young German Hound who loves to hunt real lizards. At first he didn't know how to take it, but then he followed it around the house and tried to grab it with his mouth. Fun! The other dog was shy at first, but then she grabbed him in her mouth and threw him. The robo-lizard has been catching their attention for a while and is definitely worth the money we spent.

We've always had good luck with Zuru toys and this one is no exception. We bought both the robot lizard and the snake and both arrived on time and well packaged. Both items were larger than expected and we were pleasantly surprised. After unpacking, all we had to do was insert the batteries.
