Much cheaper than the original replacement tube. It was perfect for my setup. You can find videos online that will tell you the steps, it's not difficult. I used some food grade silicone gel lube on the joints/O-rings. I also used a small amount of lube to lubricate the section of tubing that goes through the spout. The outer shell is NOT metal, but a strong nylon webbing. So it is not known how long the longevity will be. However, the expensive original Hansgrohe hose did NOT last forever, so I have no regrets trying this 1/4 cost replacement. As others have noted, this hose slides in easier than the original hose. I used a thin layer of silicone gel lube to help glide and hopefully reduce wear as well. it works very well.
