This is a decent light mat for the price. This works fine for my diamond painting, but I have a couple of caveats. It has to be related to work. The power cord is short for use on my kitchen counter. I solved it by plugging it into the power supply and not the wall. This was necessary as none of my long cables would fit in the pad port. I can only use the cable that came with it, which makes me paranoid about losing it as it's not interchangeable even though it's a standard cable. There is no cable block included, which may be an issue for some. But like I said, I still use the battery.
