I'm sorry these rugs don't last longer than they do. The only time I use regular cardboard is when I'm cutting out computer-printed ephemera. I barely get six or eight tries before it stops wanting to stick. These mats are very expensive, I think they would come up with something that lasts a little longer. I struggle with a lightweight sticky mat for thinner paper because it lasts even less time and costs the same money, but I can't put fragile paper on top of other mats. Well, we must have her. Expensive toys, expensive accessories.
