I knew something was wrong when I got the box. Something rattled in the box. I knew something was broken before I even opened the box. The loop has been broken. It also came in the same box it came in with no tape on the holes. Just attach a label. There is no sealed shipping carton to prevent hinges may break due to heavy impact during shipping. The hinges are also of very poor quality. I actually removed the screws on the side and put them back properly to allow the lid to close properly. Also, it doesn't recline far enough for my comfort, so I got out my Dremel toolbox and cut another slot. The wood is light and strong, but the hinges are lousy and cheap, and generally not very comfortable. But with a little manual skill this can be fixed and used. Not a bad deal for the price if you want to do a bit of work and replace all the hinges with better ones. But with a little manual skill this can be fixed and used.
