That's fine, but two things should be noted: They are sheet metal and not solid castings as it might appear in the picture. They're more or less 3/4" wide, so they barely fit over the edge of a 3/4" wide board. Also note that they have a "brass plating" over the steel so they aren't non-magnetic, in case that matters.
