It is recommended to inspect the serpentine several times.
It is recommended that the Serpentine be inspected a few times a year. I checked and it's noticeably worn. Replacing this part took five minutes to install. The item fits and works as advertised. I think the dealers want $150 to take the serpentine off and replace it with a motorcycle part.
