First off I am an Estwing fan and have several of their products. Everything is excellent for me. However, there are always little things that can be improved. They in no way affect the usability or durability of the product. However, there is a small (very small) nail grinding defect. I can't fix anything; but it's something I have a personal preference for. This does not affect the use of the hammer. It's just personal because I'm using a hammer like that. The hammer can be used for multiple purposes. Either way, the Hammer is definitely a heavy workhorse; and will outlive me and my grandchildren.
