I've been using it regularly ever since and have only gained impressions so far. It's a strong and durable material made from the same material as a military rigger belt, so it feels like it will last a long time and withstand heavy loads, which is good for those hikes we sometimes do through mud , brooks and etc. undertake the like. My husband is in the Army Reserve so I love that Casey's collar fits and looks cool like a dad. Seems comfortable and I like the velcro straps that we can put on and take off at will. My dog is close to medium and large but this is perfect for the largest size which is better than having a giant collar and buckling it all the way up.
