OVERVIEW β This blow out box measures 17L x 7W x 3.2H (outside) and is perfect for storing small hand tools under the back seat of my truck. But it has a slightly flimsy handle and latches and feels expensive for a case of this size. Pros - Ideal size for storing light items under the truck seat. Cons - weak handle and latch - overpriced. very similar in size. Here, however, the comparison is striking. The Master Box sold for $7.99 when it was available. It's $25, although Sears didn't send it to me at that price, I picked it up at the store. The craft box had a top-mounted handle that was much stronger than this, and lugs on the body that seemed to add extra strength. The latches on the master's box were much heavier. The plastic on the clasps on this box was very thin. I returned this product because I felt it could not securely hold the items I purchased it for. I have at least 15 tools in blow boxes ranging from small gauges to heavier tools. They ALL have stronger bars than this case. It would be nice to keep some screwdrivers, wrenches, maybe a light hammer. It's still too short for most mounts, although a different sized case from the same manufacturer might work. Rating I gave 3 stars. -1 star for cost and -1 star for weak latches and handles
