later So I was glad to get this item and immediately put it on my 5D Mark III. That weekend I went to the mountains to photograph the night sky and the next morning when I was getting ready to shoot more landscapes I noticed that this thing was gone. I thought it might have fallen into my pocket, no. I went back to where I shot last night and here he is in the grass. I picked it up, dried it and put it back on the camera, then put the camera in my bag. After hiking to the next viewpoint, I set up my tripod and other gear, reached into my bag, pulled out my camera, and guess what. he fell again while taking the camera out of my bag. Confused, I put it back on the camera and made sure it was turned on properly. Then I took my camera, turned it upside down and shook it vigorously and sure enough the eyepiece fell off again. It was a waste of $13. I would definitely not recommend it!
