REVISED REVIEW*** I found a solution to mount an LCD on Rasberry Pi and Raspberry Pi 2B. So our search begins with the Raspberry Pi (Pi 2). A little hidden info is that the Pi/Pi 2's SD card needs to be formatted to FAT32 (most of them are configured by default, so don't worry if you don't think it's changed). You can find Windows or Linux commands. it's pretty easy to figure out. If you need to convert to FAT32, I used a Linux distribution (Debian) for that. Quite easy. Windows users are on their own in this thread. Let's get to the LCD! 1) First make sure you have copied the .img file to your desktop/laptop and make sure you have read/write abilities for the file. 2) Then I want to go to Raspberrypi.org and download noobs. Once downloaded, COPY all the files from the Noobs folder and paste them to the SD card you are using. 3) Download win32DiskImager now. After downloading, start win32DiskImager and make sure you are writing to the correct disk (e.g. (E:)). Browse to the .img file that you copied from the DVD that came with the LCD. Write the .img file to your SD card. 4) When done, insert the SD card into the Pi. Make sure your keyboard is connected. As soon as you turn on the Pi, your screen stays white. I had to press the numbers 1, 2, 3 or 4 to select the correct video output. For example, USB, HDMI, etc. After you press the button you want (or if you use the default, it doesn't matter), the screen changes color momentarily. At this point you will see the kernel start to boot (system prints boot lines to screen). That's all. Beginners should guide yourself to the main screen. ** Would rate 5 but vague or lack of instructions almost made me drop the LCD **
