Buy. I have naturally thick wavy hair and this was so easy to use and gave me a look only a stylist could ever do. I have no hairdressing training. I'm not coordinative enough to use a hair dryer and a round brush so I decided to give it a try when my friend told me so when my conventional hair dryer bit the dust. I towel dried my hair, applied Not Your Mother's All Eyes On Me hairspray, and then parted my hair. I used high heat, making slow strokes and kept rotating the brush as I went down the section. It was so easy to get to the roots, straighten them and get the flip on the ends. I watched a YouTube video that really helped. My hair has never felt so soft and healthy using a conventional blow dryer and infrared straightener. The best part is that I feel like it pulls almost no hair compared to my traditional blow dryer and straightener and despite my postpartum regrowth, it always flies less than before. Mamas, you get what I mean 😫😅 The brush itself is light, feels good in the hand. It feels hot when it's been a while, but it's never felt like it's burning my scalp. The cable comes with a velcro strap so you can roll it up neatly 🙌🏼 A little silly thing is that the notch on the dial doesn't match the setting you chose, it kinda ends up in the middle of the settings written, but it's not . affects how it works. I'd say it's not much louder than a regular hair dryer on high heat. Overall, it took me about the same amount of time to dry and style as it would the traditional way, but my hair looks and feels much better.
