I have 7 small dogs and my pack has previously accepted this brand with open paws willingly (although different wording) I had the same thing with Hoped for this one and my guess was right, they love it. Smells fresh when you open the package, no bad odors, the granules are very small, like a tiny "pinky" and perfect for my 3-10 lb dogs. They all love it, which is rare in my house, there's always one or two who refuse new food, but that's not a problem. The ingredients are very good, I'd like to say they're great, but I'd like to see real meat as the first ingredient, rather than chicken "meal". But chicken meal is real meat cooked into a concentrated protein and it's always better than any by-product meal that isn't in this food and you should always stay away from by-product meal as that's pretty much all they do. sweep the floor of the slaughterhouse. The other ingredients seem to be good too and since I actually feed my dogs homemade products and use them as a supplement I am happy with this formula.
