So, after thinking I would fully customize my controller, chose bullet buttons and analog sticks, I needed copper colored buttons to replace the simpler d-pad and options/share buttons . I found this kit, bought it (obviously) and. Well it was an effort that was for sure. The parts are cheaply made, although the plastic seems to be holding up. They have not been treated, so the stitching is visible and some parts have obvious defects, e.g. B. Bubbles under the paint. Of course, what can you expect? If you want perfection, have things made for you by a professional, don't buy cheap things on Amazon. For that reason I'm not giving them a bad rating because they are perfect for what I need them for but not without their issues. I knew right away they were for an old style PS4 controller because the bumper buttons didn't even fit my controller and the triggers had to be modified to make them work. The triggers have a rim/edge which I assume should remain in the housing, but that is redundant and causes them to bind and drag. So I took them out, got out my trusty rotary tool and sanded the edge trying to keep the tongue in place (after all I don't want them to pop out the front of the case!) and voila, they work as you should. Well at least one of them - as you can see in the picture they sent me two left triggers. Since they were modified before I knew it, I just bought a replacement set elsewhere. Before you modify your parts, remember you have the right parts. The rest of the buttons I used didn't need to be modified and are perfectly assembled. Overall I would recommend them to anyone looking for cheap parts to customize their controller at home, but if you want perfection please hire a professional who can paint the parts for you. You get a much better finish (and probably more durable!) and are guaranteed to get a left and right trigger!
