Oh g0d, what just happened.

Short version: Great idea, poor execution and build.Pros: Quality materials overall, well thought out design.Cons: Battery does not charge to 100%, breaks on first use, app required to reach Max speed (why?)I was all giddy about this purchase until it arrived. The assembly was fairly straightforward although I would prefer not having to assemble the seat as it's not intuitive (I am the opposite of a handyman). I charge the bike for eight hours hoping to ride one mile away to the gym at 5:40a in the morning. The first thing I notice is this thing is it’s painfully slow. Hmm. I'm only getting about 9-10 MPH and that's DOWNHILL. Also, the acceleration is paltry. I check the rear tire and see it is rubbing on the brake pads. Okay, maybe that's the problem. Then, I remember to enable the faster speed on the app. Still not going much faster than about 11 MPH - barely jogging speed. Which feels very awkward because I'm sitting on this advanced machine supposedly for efficiency and I'm not going much faster than a senile jogger. Doh.So I decide to trudge onto the gym regardless. After 0.5 miles, I notice the back wheel is wobbling. Weird. Keep on keeping on.A few minutes later, the back wheel basically dies. The inner tube has popped out rendering the entire unit useless. So I’m stuck a mile away from the gym at 5:50a with no means of locomotion. So I pick up the bike and walk the rest of the way.To add salt to the wound, it’s been 13 hours since my first email to support (the phone line is USELESS), and no helpful response received this far.Would not recommend to family and friends. Terrible.
