They make a great addition to my farmhouse theme. If you want them in a place where there isn't an outlet, you can still get them to work. You won't be disappointed when you buy them. They weren't black, but they were easy to spray. And currently I don't have an outlet in the place where I wanted to place it. But all I had to do for now was add a power plug and some light weight washers. And the way they are built made it very easy. The light is light but strong and you can have it with or without wire covers. I like that they have that option. If we decide to make it work with a socket, the installation is easy since all the wires are in the middle. Won't mess with wires on each light. I highly recommend it.
