I've never cared much about how my room looked before but for some reason I decided that after buying a new bedroom set I wanted it to look presentable. The new set was walnut, so I wanted something in that color palette. Being new to decorating my room, it took me a while to decide on a duvet set. Again, I chose this Madison Park without much knowledge of home decor (brands, sizes, etc.). I actually had 3 others of the same brand on my wish list for comparison. All requirements were thus fully met. Firstly it was well packaged in a nice thick plastic bag to use for later storage. Second, the blanket itself. It's thick and plush, but not too bulky. All seams are well stitched along with buttons on this model. You are very safe. With a light blanket, this is the perfect weight for my cold nature. The pads and cushions are well made and look very good. All colors are well represented in the photos. The duvet washes well, but due to its size, it sometimes forms a ball in my HE dryer, sometimes requiring spot ironing to keep it looking perfectly smooth. All in all it was a good buy. Well sewn, nice colour, perfect fit and great price. I couldn't ask for more as a first time buyer. Would definitely buy again.
