Review on πŸ” CADILLAC DEVILLE (2000-2005) & SEVILLE (1998-2004) - Driver Side Power Mirror Glass Replacement by Gregory Braddock

An excellent solution for an expensive replacement. (revised review)

I can't tell you how great it was to find the perfect solution to fix my 16+ year old's 'blood stained' mirror. old Cadillac DTS. I couldn't believe it at first when my wing mirror suddenly started looking like one of those antique mirrors where the coating they used in the manufacturing process started to bleed and created a fogged up mirror that you couldn't even see off. But that's how it was, and with an older Cadillac trying to make a living on Social Security, ANYTHING that goes wrong with my old Caddy causes my sphincter to constrict so much that you can't drive a plate nail in it with a 5 can -pound nail. Hammer! No kidding - this was the absolutely ideal and least expensive way to fix what I thought was going to cost me several hundred dollars. I paid a little less than 16€ for this great solution and could have bought it for 12€, but thanks to my Prime membership it came quickly and also turned out to be a better manufacturer. What I particularly liked is that this overlay doesn't have a frame β€” just a flat piece that looks like a piece of quality glass, and it's a bit see-through, meaning your auto-dimming functions will still work Read that one heated mirror also works. It might take a little longer, but what difference does it make what you get? The seller includes six 1.5" sticky pads, way more than you need - I used five which is probably an overstatement. Bottom line: you have to know that you added this on the old mirror to know that the mirror is on top of the old one. Perfect. Very happy to have discovered this fantastic solution!
