Looks good but totally useless for its intended purpose. Double-walled ceramic does not retain heat. In fact, I'm surprisingly convinced that it actually accelerates heat loss. If you pour very hot coffee into a cup, the outside surface will get hot enough to burn you. Sounds like an exaggeration, but I assure you it is not. The heat of the hot drink is transferred directly and immediately to the outer surface of the mug. My coffee couldn't cool down faster by throwing in ice cubes (okay, maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration). The mug is microwave and dishwasher safe, but the lid doesn't fit in either, so when you're reheating your iced coffee that's going to be cold in ten minutes, you have to remember to remove the lid, like when you put it in the washing machine. It's just stupid. Another downside is that the handle is too small for the weight of the mug. It's quite heavy when full, which I found nice, but difficult to control with one hand and if you secure it with the other hand you'll realize how hot it is! Did I mention it looks amazing? I now have a pot for a small houseplant.
