and the rubber provides more friction for volume-like grips. Although I would prefer rubber.

Evolv climbing shoes start to hurt at the edges of the feet. My feet are extra wide so breaking in won't be easy, but not as difficult as other climbing shoes. The pointed tip at the end offers maximum control over tiny holds, while the rubber provides more friction on bulky holds. Although I would have preferred the rubber to have some sticking to it, these shoes are worth the money.
