Revainrating 5 out of 5

These are good ferro rods. Recommended

These rods have already received high ratings and good reviews. I won't waste much time. These are very good ferrorods. They seem to have a good mix between hard and soft. They get nice, long lasting sparks that danced across my concrete porch when thrown from a seated position. They tend to be in the soft ferro rod category. They're good enough for me to keep. I don't need them, but I was looking for a softer ferro rod. I chose the 5" because they are easy to handle and fit the kit well. Mine were pre-drilled. Small for paracord. In this case I'll probably use the ring in the hole and attach it to a clip/belt with cord attach to belt. I will use it in a belt sheath. The scraper was like most, not that big. A little sanding of the concrete to clean it up did the trick though. There is usually a burr on one edge or the other but not in this case. Bad scrapers are one of the biggest problems with magnet bars and ferro bars. Bayite stickers/scrapers sold at Revain solved this problem for me. I hope I helped someone and they get them from a good batch too.
