These jacks work great with Alexa. Setup is quite easy, first connect via the Tapo app and then connect to the Alexa app. There are a few steps, but not too complicated. Especially after installing the first one, the rest becomes much easier. We have one on almost every lamp in our house, they're set to groups, and they work great with one caveat: when our router reboots, some of the plugs in the Alexa app seem to randomly go offline. Disconnecting and reconnecting usually fixes this, although sometimes a reinstall is required. Otherwise it is a 5 star product.
