I used to buy a DVD player for my son. He has special needs and limited vocabulary, so when he asked "DVD player" I really wanted it to work. It has a button. Real DVD player, open, play, fast forward, rewind. Just in case you lose the remote, which is a great feature! Speaking of the remote, it's very easy to use as it doesn't come with the 2 required AAA batteries, so make sure you have it handy. Pretty simple build. Comes with both and HDMI. Cables as well as audiovisual wires (red, yellow, white). Both options worked, it's just your preference. Overall a great purchase!
