Review on Optimized Battery and Electrical System Analyzer: Midtronics MDX-650 by Frank Webster

Bought 2 Red Top Optima batteries a few years ago (3-4 years). Both cars had similar problems: the battery died after a few days of inactivity. I tested both and the tester showed "OK - Charging" (in and out of car). I tried charging both batteries and they charged about half and then showed 100% on the 3 chargers I tried. Unfortunately, Optima batteries tricked the charger and tester into trying to charge them, and the tester failed to realize that these batteries were bad. I replaced one of these with an O'Reillys battery and now I don't have to worry about starting the car from an outside source. Another red top, just needs to be driven lest it drain quickly.
