Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Universal Adjustable Bicycle Luggage Cargo Rack by COMINGFIT with 180lbs Capacity and Solid Bearings by Derek Dolla

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Large sturdy trunk

First I will list some disadvantages.1. It doesn't come with instructions that are well documented. Some people complain about it. However, instructions are available online and I was able to easily install it without them. It's pretty intuitive.2. The supplied screws are of good quality but too long. If you don't have a big distance, they can touch the spokes.3. There isn't much clearance between the seat and the post unless you slide the post out of the support beam. This is a design flaw. The support beam should be slightly longer. Things to look out for: 1. Make sure there are no brake cables or shifter cables in the support leg mounting points. This is by design, if you're not careful it's your fault. Don't blame the product.2. If your saddle is pretty high over the wheels and you attach it to the seatpost, it can look pretty ridiculous. Mine is like this. But then again, this is intentional. If you don't need a seat post and have mounting points on the bike body, you can order another type.3. Those with carbon fiber frames need to be very careful not to over-tighten the clamps. If possible, use a torque wrench. Cf frame owners should also severely limit their weight expectations as their frame will not be able to handle much of the load. Pros: 1. I've had over a dozen racks and have installed many more in my lifetime. This product is durable and built to withstand heavy use. Unless you slide the rack back behind the support beam, it easily supports 180 pounds, if not more. However, lengthening the stand reduces the weight it can support since there is no support underneath. That's basic physics. Some reviewers complain that the stand buckled while being pulled all the way out. What can I say, of course it will! On the other hand, all other racks on the market also bend at this point. I believe this is the most durable stand you can buy on the market. If it fits your bike I would recommend it to everyone.
