I have two of these pillows for my Mini Schnauzers. One is 13 years old, no arthritis. He spends most of his time with them. I like the spacers, but wish the cord was about 1 foot longer so it could reach the outlet and the couch. In addition, inside the cover is a thin piece of foam that wraps around the heating pad. It is cut wider than the cover and makes it difficult to put the foam and heating pad back into the cover after washing. The zipper does not stay closed. Dogs love to put pads in the nest and do a little digging in the case. As long as it lasts two years. However, your digging disturbed the foam inside and made it clumpy, which is also the reason the zipper won't stay closed. Overall my dogs love it and I would love to find a large square pillow for the dog bed. My 13 year old pup would spend more time on this dog bed if he could.
