This is a perfect example of "You get what you pay for". I was hoping it would be a magical steal of the deal but after making 4 small pom poms I couldn't do it anymore. As other reviewers have pointed out, the plastic is a bit brittle and too tight, making it extremely difficult to cut. around the edge once it has been wrapped. I think the big one might be a bit easier to handle but I really can't comment on that as my experience is small. I personally find it easier to make pom poms the old-fashioned way - using a homemade template to wrap the yarn however you like. In the end I sent the item back.
