Review on πŸŽ’ Eagle Creek Travel Luggage Backpack by Kendra Barnes

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The bag is rarely perfectly formed, stuffing a bunch of dice into it.

Let's be realistic. A bag is rarely a perfect shape, and once you put a few dice in it, you can't put more in the bag. However, this way you can be a lot more organized and ensure you get the same items that fit with a lot fewer creases every time. There are many complaints about not being as big as eBags, but to be honest I think Eagle Creek appeals to more mobile travelers. A large one fills about half of my Osprey Farpoint 40 backpack, so it's a much less flexible option for me. When I pack my 100 liter trolley to check at the counter, I definitely grab my big eBags cubes, but they're just too big for a backpack and I just don't think the extra weight of heavier cubes is worth it. Travel with 2 full cubes, a half cube and one or two quarter cubes depending on what I take. I like the little ones for things like running shorts/tops and swim trunks because they separate them from the rest of your clothing. I also use a compression bag for my socks and underwear as wrinkles don't matter and I can spend a few extra days in them. This setup allowed me to pack a full 10 days into my Farpoint backpack without having to wash my clothes. I bring little garbage bags and put my clean and dirty clothes in the same cubes they came from and wrap them in bags. It was a very efficient way to travel and I never felt I needed more. If you're packing for multiple people and/or a huge suitcase, e-bags are probably what you need.

  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
