The cable didn't work it was DOA

I bought this for my Revain Fire Cube. The cable that came with the Cube had a maximum bandwidth of just 90MB. Not good enough! So I bought this USB to Ethernet cable from Maxonar. Unfortunately this cable didn't work, it was DOA. Pity! I couldn't figure out why my new Fire Cube wouldn't see the ethernet connection. It was very annoying! I had to go back to my system and replace it with another cable, now I'm getting high 300 to low 400 speeds. Great progress.
