Okay, I'm a fan of toothpaste. I've tried hundreds of pastes. I was so disappointed that I ended up just using baking soda. I'm not going to tell you about my life's journey of reverence for toothpaste, but I will say it stops there. Very convenient serving size JOURNEY sized tablets are just what you need! You waste less (say you didn't lose the paste down the drain), you consume less, you spend less (without paying for the WATER component), you spend less (I can't stress this enough - they come without Plastic! 100% compostable packaging!- I save on plastic containers as I take Rs 3 (or 4) to heart and I'm sick of stacking toothpaste tubes, they're almost useless and just plain unnecessary) and they work just as well and taste pretty good nice - although there are plenty of flavors to try if vanilla mint isn't your jam. They even have gum. Just a note: you can almost smell the mint on these when you bite into them, but the flavor softens when you peel them. Tip: Rinse your mouth before swallowing the tablet, that's all you need to foam it up. I personally didn't find the lather to be as intrusive as some reviewers, I'd say it's low to medium, but I also usually use an electric brush if that makes a difference. Oh, and did I mention they are completely cruelty-free?! On my journey I have encountered some highly questionable pastes. It's important to remember that even seemingly innocent food producers exploit animals in a variety of ways. Noodles with animal pieces as ingredients? It would anyway. Deadly Animal Testing? Oh yeah. Long-term non-lethal torture of animals "Test?" Yes, that too. And it's not like they advertise it, you have to dig and it's an ugly, ugly hole that will never be fixed unless consumers demand it. It can be so easy to make informed and compassionate decisions when shopping. It could be something in between, like writing polite emails to companies with questionable practices. It can be as passionate as being in the media. In short, these pills leave me with a clear conscience and clean teeth. Thank you! I will buy them from now on.
