Fits perfectly in an unused switch box. Works well. Very soft. Looks pretty strong. I disconnected the dashboard light wire from the switch next to it. Can't figure out why a '99 Toyota Landcruiser OEM dash light and switch dims when the bottom switch LED gets brighter with the dash light rheostat setting? So the stock lights will dim inversely as the voltage increases, as confirmed by the multimeter. I found the middle setting to work well. I fed this switch with a single wire 16AWG fused tap to the relay which is the only opening in the firewall. With the help of a sharpened hangar, I made a narrow hole in the existing rubber firewall cuff, soldered the wire to the suspension and stretched it. The relay is critical for safety as only low current cables are allowed on the cabin side of the firewall in this installation.
