Works as advertised. I have used this product on a new Hydro 5 blade (different gel head, larger grip bar and sharper blade angle along with closer spaced blades) for the last 73 days. So far, so good. It is also important for these results that the blades are 100% dry. I wipe the edges of the blades with a terry towel and finish with a hair dryer. I won't change blades until I see holes in the gel slots. The blade is almost as sharp as new! Remember to turn the cartridge upside down before using Razorpit. I will post an update when the Blade is finally retired. After 105 shaves I finally got rid of the blade! The gel was gone and shaving became a bit tiresome. To explain how a blade feels after 100 shaves, here's a great example: It feels exactly like a Gilette Fusion blade after 3 shaves. Stop talking. Highly recommended.
