Review on Gallon Cooler Mash Tun Thermometer by Cathy Young

I bought this to transition from partial mashing to whole grain brewing. It did a great job of maintaining temperature once the top was screwed down. The temperature sensor was spot on as it matched my NIST calibrated immersion thermometer perfectly. However, the false bottom sieve didn't prevent some of my grain from going through and unfortunately getting stuck in the puree. I highly recommend using a mesh mash bag when using this mash tun. The rest works great! I've brewed great beer with this keg. It was worth the money I paid for it.
