We have an enormous number of tree ornaments on hand as we have multiple trees and multiple styles of decor for each. I thought that this would be a good way to manage the latest set of ornament purchases. I have several other similar storage units and I've had really good luck with them so far.The description of the unit is pretty complete, so I won't repeat that. My personal dislikes I will share, however:- The unit is a soft-side storage container. it's not designed to stack unless it's at the top of a stack. Anything hitting the side, top or bottom of the container is likely to do damage to the contents.- The ornament separators are cardboard strips that you must assemble and put into the container in each row. A lightweight cardboard square drops in to separate each layer. It's not really possible to lift out an entire layer to reach a layer below unless you empty all of the ornaments from the upper layer first.Ultimately, this is a great way to protect your ornaments from dust and the environment between uses. It does not offer protection from exterior sources, nor is it really stackable. The other units I have do have a hardened outer shell that provides protection and is strong enough that I can stack the units for storage purposes.Based upon my experience so far, I wouldn't order this unit again as it doesn't meet my basic needs. If you don't have a lot of ornaments and you don't mind the issues I pointed out, then it could work for you.
