as you can see in the photo i posted the jar came in such a box so the first impression of this item is very impressive. and I can completely reuse the styrofoam jar storage set. The jar I bought was 8 oz and is planned to hold my spices, salt etc. It's a bit bigger than I expected, maybe because the glass is quite thick, which is good, I think it's not easy to break. Pan lids do not have a screw cap, so the lid can be removed with little effort. Perhaps this is to prevent the pressure in the jar from exploding when bacteria invade. but at least I don't think the design is wrong since I use them to store salt and sauce anyway. I've tried a few jars, when I close the lid it closes quite tight. The only time the cap will not work is when the neck of the bottle is wet and slippery. But when it's dry I think the sauces are fine and it looks like a vacuum inside without worrying about wetting or exploding under pressure. The glass is beautifully shaped, it reminds me of an old glass milk bottle that you can slowly pour boiling water over or freeze in the freezer. Glass is always healthier than plastic, so I like to pack my herbs and spices in glass jars instead of plastic jars. the cap is made of plastic, but the cap has no direct contact with anything other than the neck of the bottle, so I think that's ok. The cast iron is in the same order but the cast iron did not damage the bottle in the box at all, look how strong the packaging and packaging was. Now I put the spices in each bottle as long as they look pretty good. This glass is suitable for my kitchen and I would recommend it to my friends.
