They are definitely quieter than other models.

I have at least three different types of air purifiers, they are powerful, amazing, they came in two orders of magnitude in cost and noise. (Quiet, great white noise to fall asleep to) The display is not too bright and doesn't bother you when you fall asleep. We have two dogs and a cat and live in a dry, dusty place. Excellent work. (I'm not sure how much the filters will bring me back, but we'll see)
